Champagne Bertrand Vallois From the family domaine.

Celine and Bertrand Vallois farms 14 hectares of vines in Bergères-les-Vertus, at the southern tip of the Côte des Blancs, 25 minutes south of Reims.

The soil is chalk. The slopes face south. The vines have been in the family for three generations, classified Premier Cru.

The Brut Réserve blends Chardonnay, the Côte des Blancs specialty, with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Fresh, mineral, dry. Aged on lees, hand-disgorged.

In Amsterdam, we are the only place that pours and sells it.

Just champagne between friends. Three young vignerons from the Vallée de la Marne, bottling the way they drink: little sugar, little sulphite, no gilding.

We carry two of their cuvées, both available by the bottle at the shop: Blanc de Noirs · Extra Brut - black grapes vinified as white. Bone-dry, full of ripe yellow fruit, with real body and length.

Blanc de Blancs - 100% Chardonnay. Mineral and sharp, citrus and white flowers, a clean finish.

The cuvée many of you tasted at the Amsterdam Champagne Festival, and the only place in the city you'll find it again.
